YKK AP Indonesia Honored with 2024 CSR Award for Environmental Contributions

YKK AP Indonesia has been recognized with the 2024 CSR Award by the Tangerang Regency Government for its outstanding achievements in corporate social responsibility activities. The company has been a pioneer in mangrove conservation, planting over 36,000 stems of the endangered Bruguiera cylindrica species since 2015, helping reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 443 tons annually. Additionally, YKK AP Indonesia’s “Bank Sampah” program, initiated in 2016, has successfully promoted waste sorting and recycling within local communities. Moreover, computers  are donated to elementary schools around the factory every year since 2015. These consistent efforts have significantly contributed to environmental preservation and community development, earning YKK AP Indonesia this prestigious honor.
